PC Software Support

We are able to provide support on the following operating systems:

  • MS-DOS & MS Windows, all versions from 3.1 up to Vista, including 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 & 8
  • Linux, we are most comfortable with Ubuntu, Debian and Gentoo, but we have some experience in Red Hat, Slackware and OpenBSD.

PC and Network Security

Since the rapid take up of high speed and "always-on" internet connections in the UK and worldwide, PC and network security has become something that people cannot afford to ignore, especially if you leave your PC or network system connected to the internet all day long, as this increases the chance of being found by viruses and crackers.

Fortunately securing your system or network is a simple case of allowing us to perform a security sweep of your IT infrastructure, and make sure that you have the following systems installed on all your PCs:

  • Anti-virus and virus removal, including daily updates of anti-virus definitions
  • Firewalls to protect your PC or network from attacks
  • Spyware removal and protection
  • Install security updates for your systems to help prevent attacks from known software problems
